A quite exceptional Lodge in 0.3 of an acre. Several extensions enhance the original.
Formerly part of Marchfield House, a grand 18th Century Listed building.
On the outskirts of Binfield Village.
Exceptionally well located for many towns, motorways and important railway stations.
Outside there is a home office with adjoining store/small garden room, which again has open views across the gardens. There is also a container. The gardens are an important feature and perhaps best described in the photographs below. If the character and quality of the property and grounds is not enough to sell the Lodge, then it must be the general location.
Binfield Village is a little more than half a mile away, with some good local shops, doctors’ surgery, library and school for children 5 – 11 years. Wokingham, Bracknell and access to the M4 (Junction 10) are all within 2 – 3 miles. The M3 is also readily available via a series of mainly dual carriageways around Bracknell at Bagshot (Junction 3) to the south. There is a scenic route past White Waltham airfield to Maidenhead to the north and the nearby villages of Bray and Holyport. Other accessible towns include Reading, Ascot, Windsor and Slough. Wokingham and Bracknell railway stations offer services on the Reading to London (Waterloo line), with a service from Wokingham to Guildford and Gatwick airport. Just to the north (about 4 miles) is Twyford station, with fast services between the west of England - Reading - London (Paddington) and shortly the new Crossrail service will also stop at Twyford before terminating at Reading.
